Mountain Delight Camp was founded by passionate Garhwali mountain enthusiasts who wanted to share the breathtaking beauty of Chopta with travellers from across India and beyond.

Located at Duggal Bittha in Chopta — at 2,680 metres above sea level — our camp sits in the heart of one of Uttarakhand's most pristine landscapes, often called the "Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand".

2018

The Dream Begins

Mountain Delight Camp was founded at Duggal Bittha, Chopta with just three tents and a dream to share Himalayan wilderness with the world.

2019

First 100 Guests

We welcomed our first 100 guests, each leaving with a piece of Chopta in their hearts. Word of mouth grew our family rapidly.

2021

Expansion & Upgrades

Expanded to premium forest tents and family suites. Launched our in-house restaurant serving authentic Pahadi cuisine.

Chopta is one of Uttarakhand's best-kept secrets — a pristine high-altitude plateau at 2,680m, covered in dense oak and rhododendron forest, blooming bugyal meadows and crisp mountain air.

Unlike commercialised hill stations, Chopta retains its raw, unspoiled character. It is the gateway to the Tungnath–Chandrashila trail, Deoria Tal and a network of trails through Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary.
